A video of a Nigerian police officer preaching the gospel to
passers-by at a local market has surfaced online and gone viral.
In the less than two-minute footage shared by one Philip
Ojealao, the officer is seen urging people to shun their sinful ways and return
to God.
Citing a portion of the Bible, the policeman said those who
craved prosperity and other good things of life cannot achieve them on their
own.
“…that’s why the Bible said…’ I wish above all things, that
you may prosper.’ Listen and listen to me, if you want prosperity, you must
give your life to Jesus Christ,” he could be heard saying.
“You must abandon
your way. The Bible says ‘unless a man becomes born again, he cannot enter into
the Kingdom of God.”
The officer also said having a good relationship with God is
integral to man’s quest for dealing with life’s inherent changes.
According to him, people cannot continue to dwell in their
sinful ways and expect God’s blessings.
“You must have a good
relationship with God if you want his hand to rest upon you if you want the
hand of God to deliver you and give you safety…there is nothing between light
and darkness,” he added.

While this is commendable, he should have removed his uniform to do this. This is abuse and not right. I hope he is not fired for this
