Shehu Sani, a former senator, has taunted the federal
government over the ongoing protest across the country.
Youth across the country are currently on the streets,
demanding better governance and an end to police brutality.
The protesters, who have taken over major roads in the
country, have vowed not to leave the streets until there is an improvement in
governance.
On Friday, they blocked the road to the Nnamdi Azikiwe
International Airport in Abuja, Lekki-Ikoyi toll gate and third mainland bridge
in Lagos, among others.
After a candle light session on Friday night, youth trooped
to the streets of Port Harcourt in Rivers, on Saturday morning.
In a tweet, Sani hinted that young persons were fighting
back because they had lost hope in the government.
“You blocked their future, they are now blocking your roads.
#ENDBADGOVERNANCE #EndSARS,” he tweeted.
