Arsenal have officially reached an agreement with two
defenders, Pablo Mari and Cedric Soares to join the club on a permanent deal.
Mari and Soares initially joined Arsenal on loan in the
January transfer window but have impressed for the Gunners so far after winning
the FA Cup trophy earlier this month.
Arsenal stated this in a statement on its official website
on Monday.
The statement read: “We have reached an agreement with both
Pablo Mari and Cedric Soares to join the club on permanent deals.
“Both players joined us initially on loan in January, and
after impressing on and off the pitch over the past eight months, all parties
have agreed to make their moves permanent.”
Pablo, 26, joined Mikel Arteta’s side from Brazilian side
Flamengo.
Cedric, 28, joined Arsenal from Southampton.
