Reno Omokri, former aide to
ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, has criticised Governor Nasir Elrufai of Kaduna
State for begging the Chief of Air Staff (CAS) Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar to
save the state from insecurity.
In a tweet on Sunday, Omokri
claimed that Elrufai rubbished former President, Goodluck Jonathan when he
built 165 almajiri schools in the North, adding that the governor was now
complaining that Kaduna State was insecure.
He wrote: “@Elrufai, is begging
the chief of Air Staff to save Kaduna from insecurity. When @GEJonathan built
165 almajiri schools in the North, El-Rufai rubbished him.
“Now he complains that Kaduna is
insecure. Why do you think GEJ built those schools? It was to address the
insecurity.”
Recall that El-rufai held meeting
with the acting Inspector-General of Police, IGP Mohammed Adamu and the Sultan
of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar over security issues in the state and other
parts of the north a few days ago.
The theme of the meeting was “how
to tackle the menace of insecurity ravaging the North”.
