The Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF),
Boss Mustapha, has said that Nigeria was heading in the wrong direction before
Muhammadu Buhari assumed office as president and started steering the country
in the right direction.
Speaking at the 2019 National Policy and Development (N-PoD)
Summit held in Abuja yesterday, Mustapha, represented by the Permanent
Secretary in charge of General Services, Olusegun Adekunle, said integrity is
the base of the ideals that define President Buhari’s government despite
resistance from those feeding fats from the old order.
The summit, organized by the Senior Special Assistant to the
President on Policy Development and Analysis, Ibrahim Bapetel Hassan, had as
its theme: “Interrogating the Change Agenda: An Overview of the Achievements of
the Federal Government’s Change Agenda.”
The SGF said Nigeria is the trigger of the African continent
and this is why Nigeria must lead by example.
The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Mohammed
Bello, who represented President Muhammadu Buhari, said the achievements of the
present government is a proof that Next Level is assured.
He said the present government has delivered on its promises
to the people and these were evident in the several achievements testified by
the participants at the summit.
