He alleged that the governor had assembled 53 traditional rulers in the government house in Jalingo a few days ago and directed them that they must ensure he and all contestants of PDP are elected in their domains.
He said the governor threatened to remove any royal fathers that allowed PDP to loose election in his domain.
The chairman said such threats were also extended to senior state civil servants and local government staff.
According to him, the governor had also assembled senior civil servants at the exco- chamber in government house, Jalingo recently and handed down warnings that they must ensure the victory of PDP in the areas they are from or face sanctions.
He said APC viewed the governor’s actions as a desperate attempt to cause crisis in the state.
Reacting to the allegation, the Senior Assistant on media and publicity to governor Darius, Mr Bala Dan Abu said Governor Darius was not desperate to win elections, adding that he does not need to intimidate anybody to win elections.
He said the government of Darius Ishaku had done so much for the people of the state, saying his performances will earn him victory at the polls.
