President Muhammadu Buhari
inspected a military parade during this year’s armed forces remembrance day.
The event which took place at
Eagle Square, Abuja, had many dignitaries in attendance.
Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo;
Senate President Bukola Saraki; Yakubu Dogara, speaker of the house of
representatives, and Walter Onnoghen, chief justice of Nigeria, were at the
event.
Every year, January 15 is set
aside to honour those who paid the supreme price to safeguard the nation.
