The Presidency has again reacted
to the full audio tape released by the camp of the Peoples Democratic Party,
where Transportation Minister, Rotimi Amaechi was said to have lambasted the
President Muhammadu Buhari government.
Presidential aide on Digital
Media, Tolu Ogunlesi, on Sunday, said the trending leaked audio was clinically
edited.
He said the area where Amaechi
spoke about corruption was ‘edited out’.
He further released the full
version of what Amaechi originally said.
An audio, which was shared by
Rono Omokri of Amaechi saying Nigerians are crying in just 3 years of Buhari’s
administration, has generated a lot of controversies.
Ogunlesi claimed the audio was
doctored and thus misrepresented.
The Presidential aide wrote:
“You haven’t heard the last of
the Amaechi ‘tapes.’
“We are dealing with
Principalities and Powers, who‘ll go to any lengths to fight dirty.

But are students, farmers and workers crying because the president is fighting corruption? I think not and I don't believe anybody else will think so. The video is what it it. The corruption part changes nothing.
