Former Minister of Aviation, Femi
Fani-Kayode, has dared the Nigeria Police to declare former Military Head of
State, Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida, wanted.
Fani-Kayode, writing on his
Twitter page, said it was cowardice for the Force to go after Babangida’s
spokesperson, Kassim Afegbua.
He tweeted: “If u are not a
coward why declare Kassim Afegbua wanted and leave the man on whose behalf he
spoke alone. If u are not a coward and a bully why are u so scared of IBB and
why are u harrassing his spokesman. Truth is u can’t handle IBB. U are
terrified of him. U fear his shadow.”
Afegbua has already has sued the
Police for fundamental rights enforcement . He is also demanding N1 billion
damages from the police, its spokesperson, Jimoh Moshood, and two media houses.
His legal representative, Kayode
Ajulo, filed the suit at the Abuja Division of the Federal High Court Tuesday
afternoon.
