Femi Fani-Kayode, on Monday
reacted to claim by the Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom that President
Muhammadu Buhari has abandoned people of the state, following Fulani herdsmen
attack.
The former Minister said the
governor should expect nothing less, stressing that the “Fulani terrorists” are
Buhari’s “kith and kin and foot soldiers.”
In a tweet via his Twitter
handle, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chieftain maintained that Fulani
herdsmen were more important to Buhari than the people of Benue State.
Fani-Kayode wrote: “Gov. Ortom of
Benue state says Buhari has “abandoned” the people of his state.
“What did he expect? The Fulani
terrorists that are killing his people are Buhari’s kith and kin and
footsoldiers. He is their Life Patron.
“They are far more important to
him than Benue state!”
