Former Minister of Aviation, Femi
Fani-Kayode has faulted President Muhammadu Buhari’s reaction to the killing
allegedly carried out by Fulani herdsmen in Plateau State.
Following the killing of some
people in a village in Plateau State, Buhari had condemned the killing,
saying it has “gone too far”.
Describing the killing as
“madness gone too far” Buhari ordered security operatives to ensure that there
were no reprisal attacks.
However, Fani-Kayode in his
reaction wondered if Buhari was a president for making such a statement.
In a tweet via his social media,
he wrote, “40 innocent Christians, including women and children, were butchered
by Muslim Fulani herdsmen in Plateau state yesterday.
“@MBuhari has offered no
commiserations to the families of the dead.
“Instead he says there must be no
reprisals against his Fulani kinsmen. Is that a President?”
