The Presidency has reacted to
comment by former President Olusegun Obasanjo on the agitation by leader of the
Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu.
Reacting, Buhari’s Special
Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina described Obasanjo’s remark as a
personal opinion.
Speaking on Saturday with
newsmen, Adesina maintained that Obasanjo’s comment was not a law or a rule.
“It is an opinion that he has proffered
and when you proffer an opinion, it is not a law or a rule”, he said.
“It is now left for the person
who was given the advice to consider it.”

Yes it's now left for Buhari to take the advice or commit genocide against the people of Biafra
ReplyDeleteBuhari should take it easy with those biafra agitator.
ReplyDeleteWe are in democrat world and they have the right.
After all buhari caused this by marginalizing the ibgo
Buhari is leading the people that voted him and killing the people that didn't vote him. Simple mathematics. The python will continue to dance and even sing till all Igbos have been killed by Buhari.
ReplyDelete@anonymous 6:50 nameless idiot..ibos will not die finish...you know Why? Because oluwa is fully involve ....why can't you MAKE A name for yourself?
ReplyDeletewhat is wrong can never be right
ReplyDeleteFemi Adesina, Obasanjo has a right to that suggestion. Like you've done many times over, you can advise your principal to ignore Obasanjo's advice. But it doesn't all there; you're a slave to your entire being.
ReplyDeleteMy take on d issue is dis: I don't subscribe to d idea of Buhari to dialogue with Kanu at all. Alternatively, d President can call a meeting of elders, traditional rulers, religious leaders and other opinion leaders and talk to them. If Obasanjo were to be d President he will never succumbed to d suggestion of dialoguing with Kanu. Secondly, instead of d Igbo's to take a cue from d Yorubas by organising a conference to itemise their demands on d restructuring of d country they sheepishly following their grandson to ask for referendum. People like Prof. Nwabueze who should know better at his age turn himself into errand boy of his grandson. Dis is unfortunate. Igbo's have turned themselves into scorns in their country. When do they see d yorubas or d hausas asking for secession from Nigeria. It has always been d Igbos. Dis is why they are not trusted in anyway and will find it difficult to attain presidency.
ReplyDeleteWHAT DO WE EXPECT A SLAVE TO DO WITH/TO HIS MATTER IF NOT TO DEFEND HIM. IT IS FEMI ADESHINA'S TIME/TURN TO CHOP TODAY AND WORSHIP WHOEVER PUT HIM THERE. WHEN HIS POWER TURNS TO POWDER(DUST) TOMORROW HE WILL JOIN THE MASSES AGAIN TO TALK TOUGH al Reuben Abati. SHAME ON ALL OF THEM I AM SURE IF KANU IS FROM SOUTH WEST FEMI WILL NOT DARE CONTRADICT OBJ. MARK YOU WHAT GOES ROUND COMES ROUND. REMEMBER BOB MARLEY? " THINK YOU ARE IN HEAVEN BUT YOU ARE LIVING IN HELL, TIME WILL TELL" Jay 2, Abuja.
