The Minister of Interior,
Abdulrahaman Dambazau, has urged Nigerians to be united in spite of agitations
and violence by the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.
The Minister made the appeal at
the Government House, Jos, while speaking with journalists shortly after he met
with the governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong.
The minister met with Governor
Simon Lalong and other security agencies in the state in a closed door meeting
following ethnic clash in Jos which two persons were confirmed dead
on Thursday.
Mr. Dambazau reiterated that
Nigeria will not be divided despite uprising in the east.
“Nigeria will remain one in spite
of the uprising by the IPOB.
“I can assure you that government
is in total control.
“The presence of soldiers
anywhere in the country was for the safety of citizens, urging citizens to
cooperate with security agents to curtail violence.”

How can you send soldiers who can not speak or understand simple english language to SE and expect no clashes. How can both sides communicate? I am so suprised the way most called elites reason and talk. It is very shameful situation.
