Former aide to ex-President
Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, says President Muhammadu Buhari’s consistent
medical leave to London is to blame for doctors’ strike.
Omokri stated that the strike
could have been avoided if money spent to treat Buhari abroad was invested in
Nigeria’s health sector.
“Sad thing about the Nigerian
doctors strike is that Nigeria could have avoided it if we invested the money
spent to treat PMB abroad on them.” Omokri via his twitter page.
Buhari had on August 19 returned
to country after spending over 100 days in London treating an undisclosed
illness.
