Former vice president, Atiku
Abubakar on Friday, appealed to fellow Muslims to retrieve and reclaim their
hijacked from Boko Haram.
He said it was obvious that the
terror group is keen on destroying the peace and unity of the nation.
Atiku made the remarks via his
Twitter account.
He tweeted: “I pray for peace and love in our homes and country this Sallah #EidMubarak. I urge Muslims to reclaim the religion which is being hijacked by violent extremists whose atrocities portray Islam in bad light.Click to signup for FREE news updates, latest information and hottest gists everyday
“The activities of these violent extremists have economically destroyed the North in particular the Northeast and disrupted its social life.
“We Muslims must show increased commitment to peaceful coexistence in line with the demands of the Muslim faith & Nigeria’s complex diversity.
“Love and peace should not only be preached, but must also be put into practice for the sake of sustaining the peace in our land.”

Let's see if they would reclaim it by their hatred and continuous killing of Christians
ReplyDeleteThey hate both Muslims and Christians. Boko Haram has murdered more Muslims than Christians. Whoever does not agree with them and join their group is killed. This is not about hating one religion, it is pure evil against everyone that is not part of them. Let's be sincere a day not use religious sentiment as a reason to propagate more hate between the two major faiths in Nigeria. Boko Haram is evil against everyone period.
