A court in Cyprus has discharged
and acquitted a Nigerian Comedian, Osi Uduimoh, popularly known as MC Jerry
over the alleged murder of a fellow Nigerian.
Jerry, was in December 2015
arrested and charged over the alleged kidnap and subsequent murder of a
fellow Nigerian student, Ebinabo Mendeinyo.
Reports then had it that the
deceased had out of fear jumped from the 6th floor of his apartment building,
when some unidentified boys, in company of MC Jerry confronted him.

wounds.
According to the report, Jerry
was the first person the police arrested in connection with the murder.
Following Jerry’s arrest, Cyprus
Police charged him with murder, trespassing, kidnapping and serious assault.

liable source that, “on July 31, 2017, Prosecution filed nolle proseque and
they found” Jerry “innocent after spending 19 months in detention and going to
court.”
The source added, “The Judge and
prosecution said they have checked all the statements, witnesses and
investigation and found out he has no connection in the case and also it will
be unfair to continue keeping him in detention, so he is now DISCHARGED and
