Former Arsenal striker, Thierry Henry, has revealed that he was so unimpressed by Arsene Wenger’s team’s performance against Liverpool, that he wanted to leave Anfield.
Liverpool hammered the Gunners 4-0 on Sunday, thanks to goals from Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane, Mohammed Salah and Daniel Sturridge.
Henry says his former club are on a downward slide, before “everything is comfortable” at the Emirates and there is no pressure.
“I wanted to leave [the stadium] because I don’t relate to the team at the moment. That’s the problem.
“Everything is comfortable at Arsenal. It’s not the kind of pressure that you have at a big club,” the Sky Sports pundit said after the game.
