The Buhari Media Support Group
(BMSG), yesterday, cautioned the PDP to stop playing with the sensibilities of
Nigerians.
The group said it took exception
“at the brazen way the PDP lays claims to what it never achieved in its 16
years in power.”
The Buhari group was reacting to
the claims made by officials of the PDP at its non-elective convention last
weekend in Abuja.
In a statement signed by its
Chairman, Austin Braimoh, and Secretary, Cassidy Madueke, the group said recent
recoveries by the EFCC showed that one person alone stole enough money that
could build six airports, two long rail lines and implement huge agricultural
projects that would have provided much-needed jobs for teeming Nigerian youths.
“This is money stolen by just one
person during President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration,” the statement
said.
