The Department of State Services, DSS, Thursday, allegedly bared its fangs when it attempted to arrest former aide to Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Pastor Reno Omokri.
Reno who is also an author had his distributor, who is a US based Nigerian publisher, and bears a striking resemblance with him accosted by a customs agent who began interrogating him until a DSS agent came up to him and took over the interrogation.
According to him, “the DSS agent kept asking, ‘are you the author?’ to which he responded in the negative. At which point, he was detained and taken to an office with four or five other people in it.” He added that, “After some minutes, he heard the DSS agent discussing his fate in an adjoining room, so he began moving to the door, which had been left ajar, and then bolted” and took to his heels.

Why would you run away? You should have waited! Anyway I don't blame you. Suffering is not for people like you. You have been to the USA and you know the kind of better life that exists here. But you should have waited. Now they can add to your charges and say that you resisted arrest. You know that is an offence on its own.

ReplyDeleteThe Semi-literate people like Anonymous 4:29 are the creation of Nigeria's Failed Leadership System. To perpetuate themselves in power the evil revolving-door-leaders have raised this army of semi-literates. It is this army of semi-literates that must be overcome as one of the battles in the war for the soul of Nigeria.
