Wasilat Obanikoro, mother of former minister of state for defence, Musiliu Obanikoro, is dead, her son said.
Mr. Obanikoro said in an SMS on Saturday morning that his mother died in the early hours at the age of 95.
She was said to have been ill for a few weeks before passing on at her residence in Isale-Eko, Lagos.
The former petty trader would be buried at 3:00 p.m. at Ikoyi Cemetery, Lagos, in accordance with the dictates of Islam, which she practised until her demise, her son said. Click to signup for FREE news updates, latest information and hottest gists everyday
