The All Progressives Grand Alliance has announced the suspension of Hon. Clinton Ebere representing Aba South State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly.
The lawmaker, according to the party, was suspended for alleged anti-party activities.
In a statement, signed by the Abia State Chairman of APGA, Rev. Augustine Ehiemere, and made available to The PUNCH on Thursday reads:
“The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Abia State wishes to announce the immediate suspension of its House of Assembly member Representing Aba South State Constituency, in the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Clinton Ebere, for anti-party activities.
“The party, therefore, advises all APGA members, stakeholders and indeed the general public to take note of this development and be properly guided. The party shall, however, keep everyone posted on further developments in respect to Hon. Ebere’s suspension.”
Efforts to get the lawmaker’s response proved abortive as he never responded to his calls and text messages as of the time of filing this report.
