Ideye ends four-match goal drought, Mikel Obi missing as Tianjin TEDA win

Brown Ideye ended his four-match goal drought, as he scored in Tianjin TEDA’s 3-1 win over Yanbian Fude in the Chinese Super League on Saturday.

The Nigerian striker has not scored for the Tigers, since he joined from Olympiakos in January.

However, he was in a great position to tuck in a rebound, after Mbaye Diagne’s shot was saved by Chi.

His compatriot Mikel Obi missed the game, as he continues to recover from injury.

Ideye took to Instagram to celebrate his first CSL goal.

“That feeling when you scored your first goal, PRICELESS!!! Good job guys, Good the spirit,” he wrote.

Tianjin TEDA are 10th on the log with 10 points from eight games.

They visit Qinhuangdao Olympic Sports Center Stadium on April 29 for their fixture against Hebei CFFC.
