MFM FC grabbed a 1-0 win at Sunshine Stars, with Stephen Odey grabbing his fifth goal of the season. The Lagos club have not lost in their last four NPFL fixtures and are second with 13 points, one behind leaders Plateau United.
Plateau United were held to a goalless draw by Nasarawa United at the Lafia City Stadium, while FC Ifeanyiubah beat Enugu Rangers 1-0 in the South-East derby in Nnewi.
Adamu Mohammed scored late in the game to hand Kano Pillars a 1-0 victory over ABS FC at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Lobi Stars won 2-0 against struggling Wikki Tourists in Makurdi and Niger Tornadoes held Katsina United to a 1-1 draw in Lokoja.
Abia Warriors secured their first win in three games after edging out Gombe United 1-0 in Umuahia and El-Kanemi Warriors also beat Enyimba 1-0 in Maiduguri.
