Former Germany international, Oliver Khan, has said that Arsenal players have no faith left in manager Arsene Wenger, after their 5-1 humiliation against Bayern Munich on Wednesday night.
The Gunners are on the brink of elimination from the Champions League at the round of 16 stage for a seventh straight year.
Kahn, who is a former Bayern goalkeeper, won eight Bundesliga titles, the Champions League and the European Championship during his career.
He believes Wenger is losing the battle to bring out thebest from his team.
“It looks like the players don’t take the coach seriously anymore,” Kahn, speaking as a pundit for ZDF television, said.
Kahn also blasted midfielder Mesut Ozil for another anonymous performance at the Allianz Arena.
He said: “Of course Arsenal have their qualities, especially on the counter-attack, and they have good players like Ozil, but I haven’t seen him. Maybe you saw him.
“It’s sad to see what Ozil is calling a performance, how passive he plays, a player of his genius and qualities – it’s a shame.”
