At least two persons were killed and the third kidnapped by unknown gunmen in Omoku in Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni Local government area, ONELGA of Rivers state.
The kidnapped person was identified as Jeremiah Uche, who is a former member of ONELGA Caretaker Committee.
It was gathered that Uche was kidnapped at gunpoint at his resident in the early hours of yesterday, while two of his friends who had paid him a visit were shot dead.
A source who confirmed the incident to DAILY POST on telephone said the masked hoodlums also took the lifeless bodies of their victims, including a former President of Obrikom community Youth, Julius Amadi.
