Wilfred Ndidi has said he is not going to be under pressure to play like N’Golo Kante, when he signs for Leicester City in the January transfer window.
The Premier League champions have already agreed a deal for the Super Eagles midfielder.
Ndidi is expected to play the Kante role when he moves to the King Power Stadium, after the Frenchman left for Chelsea last summer.
“I don’t have to be Kante. Kante is Kante. We are different players,” Ndidi told Leicestermercury.
“I have my own style of play and I don’t want to be under pressure to be another player.
“I just have to go there (Leicester City) and play my own game.
“I am more comfortable in the midfield. I am now more used to playing there than in other positions.”
