The Minister of Youths and Sports, Mr. Solomon Dalung, on Friday said his statement that the Federal Government did not expect the Super Falcons to win the just-concluded CAF African Women Cup of Nations in Cameroon was taken out of context.
Dalung spoke when President Muhammadu Buhari granted audience to the Senator Kabir Gaya-led delegation organising the National Youth Open Water Swimming Competition.
The minister said the government was committed to paying the outstanding entitlements of the players.
