Pastor Ernest Mbanefo, the alleged brain behind the ponzi scheme making waves in Nigeria has denied ownership of the scheme.
Several online platforms in Nigeria had on Friday reported that the South Africa-based pastor was the owner of MMM Nigeria, a ponzi scheme that promised its members 30 per cent return on investments
But speaking to Concise News, Mbanefo slammed the media for not verifying with him despite the fact that his contact details were available on the internet.
He explained that he used his website, mmm-nigeria.net, to tutor interested investors on the workings of the scheme and thereafter direct them to register on the official nigeria.mmm.net website.
He said, “I do not own MMM Nigeria.
“The original website of MMM Nigeria is nigeria-mmm.net.
“All I’ve done is to use my knowledge of web designing to launch mmm-nigeria.net.”
On his affiliation with Sergei Mavrodi, the promoter of MMM Global, Mbanefo said, ” I have never met Sergei Mavrodi before. Mavrodi does not not even know about my activities in the MMM programme. Click to signup for FREE news updates, latest information and hottest gists everyday

This is a clear sign that something is fishy. No body is coming forward to admit ownership. OK oo! It tells of the sinister motives of those behind this but Nigerians should realise that there is no free launch anywhere. Those behind this hitech fraud know what they are doing. .. In banks and stock trading we know some engage in insider trading.
ReplyDeleteThe truth is that many will make money in this MMM stuff but many will die because of this clody hitech fraud.
The nature of all fraud is that the total money the fraudsters target at the long run far exceed the ones used as baits or victims think the have benefitted.
Anyway na this APC government induced recession that is responsible for all this.
Sai Baba!
Sai Oyegun!
Sai Tinubu!
yesterday the headlines was the man behind the MMM Scheme has been unmasked and now it's a different story, I think the people who name headlines in some of this news should get their heads examined, no investigations made, no confirmation about the persons personality, maybe because the man doesn't stay in Nigeria you think you can just write anything about the person, well I hope you guys have leant your lessons cause if not, you will learn it the hard way.
ReplyDelete2Peter 2:12-22 But these, like natural brute beasts made to be caught and destroyed, speak evil of the things they do not understand, and will utterly perish in their own corruption, and will receive the wages of unrighteousness, as those who count it pleasure to carouse in the daytime. They are spots and blemishes, carousing in their own deceptions while they feast with you, having eyes full of adultery and that cannot cease from sin, enticing unstable souls. They have a heart trained in covetous practices, and are accursed children. They have forsaken the right way and gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; but he was rebuked for his iniquity: a dumb donkey speaking with a man’s voice restrained the madness of the prophet. These are wells without water, clouds carried by a tempest, for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever. For when they speak great swelling words of emptiness, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through lewdness, the ones who have actually escaped from those who live in error. While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is brought into bondage. For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: “A dog returns to his own vomit,” and, “a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire.”

2Peter 2:1-3 But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber.
ReplyDeleteBusiness where no one is bold to own is fraud. Nigerians beware.
ReplyDeletePeople think and write any how without verification, who told them that the owner of MMM is a Nigerian or is it because it contains nigeria in its name or was it not the same media that said that the owner of MMM is a Russian man Sergei Mavrodi or are they confused. Please there are numerous ponzi scheme that are not reliable than MMM and my question is why wouldn't they focus on those ones?
