Cameroon women midfielder Raissa Feudjio has revealed her side are favourites to win the Africa Women's Cup of Nations title at the expense of Nigeria in Yaounde on Saturday.
The 21-year-old Trabzon Idmanocagı midfielder insists her side is hoping to reward Cameroonians' support by subduing the African queens to clinch the title at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium.
"We are always on the path to our goal which has always been and that remains, the trophy," Feudjio told media.
"We had planned to play and win 5 games. So far, we have made no mistakes. So we remain focused and applied.
"We promise the Cameroonian people that we will win this final. This trophy must remain with us because it belongs to us.
"The victory against Ghana has already been forgotten. Now we think of the final. We have only one thing in mind is to win the trophy.
"This will be a rematch seen as we lost against Nigeria in the past final. We will not make the same mistake on Saturday. We will do everything to win this title."
