Nigeria coach Gernot Rohr has revealed he will at next year’s AFCON in Gabon to spy on World Cup rivals Cameroon and Algeria.
While Nigeria and Zambia failed to qualify for 2017 AFCON, Cameroon and Algeria will be on parade.
“I will be in Gabon to look at Cameroon and Algeria again,” he disclosed.
Nigeria tackle the Indomitable Lions in a World Cup double header in late August 2017.
He also informed that he will continue to monitor Nigeria players in Europe while also shopping for new players in some problematic positions.
He also plans to visit some of these players in Turkey, Belgium and Germany.
“We will continue to monitor our players in Europe,” he said.
“We want to find some players from some positions in Europe.
“I hope to be in Belgium, Turkey, Germany to see how some of these players work.”
