Zambia coach, Wedson Nyirenda, will drop 12 out of the 24 home-based players in camp on Sunday ahead of October 9 2018 World Cup qualifying fixture against Nigeria.
According to reports, the coach has decided to retain half of the players in camp in anticipation of the arrival of the nine home-based players he invited for the game who are expected to be in camp on Sunday.
Top on the list of the overseas-based stars expected in camp are captian Rainford Kalaba and veteran goalkeeper, Kennedy Mweene.
Meanwhile, the Chipolopolo defeated Division one side, Gomes FC, 4 -0 in a test game on Thursday at the Levy Nwanawasa Stadium, Ndola on Thursday.
The quartet of Justin Shonga, Roderick Kabwe, Ziyo Tembo and Patson Daka scored the goals for Nyirenda's men.
