Aliko Dangote, president of Dangote Group, is building the world’s largest greenfield refinery, with a starting refining capacity of about 600,000 barrels of oil per day.
Much more interesting is the geographical size of the refinery, which Dangote puts at eight times the size of Victoria Island, Lagos.
A video by Ovation Media Group shows Dangote telling stakeholders and the media how big his refinery really is.
“You won't appreciate the size of the place, maybe because you have not gone round, some of you,” he said.
“But this place is actually eight times Victoria Island, that is to give you the concept. The entire Victory Island, you get eight times of it here, so that is how big it is.”

Good one Mr. Dangote! If we have men like you with vision and wealth that can invest and change the Nigerian Economy, Nigeria will be one of the greatest countries in the World. But its unfortunate that most of these men are too greedy! God bless you Dangote!.
ReplyDeleteDangote have enjoyed waivers from the FGN like others but Nigeria should be glad you are returning back massively to her economy.
ReplyDeleteNice and lovely to hear this.
