Speaking before a joint committee session with officials of Katsina Emirate, Christian Association of Nigeria (NAN) Katsina chapter, and security personnel, Habiba said, “I chose on my own to become a Muslim and relocated to the emir’s palace for fear of what I might go through and the threat coming from my parents.”
Also speaking, the Kauran Katsina, Nuhu Abdulkadir, said the palace was disturbed giving several unwelcome remarks from national CAN and the parents of the girl.

But if an Muslim girl get married to a Christian man and get converted, Muslim people will kill the girl....Why ?
ReplyDeleteAs long as Nigeria run two constitutions, there peadophiles will continue to hide under the sharia-Islamic law to delife under age girls. So the solution to this problem is for the National assembly to be courageous enough to uphold the a secualr Constitution for Nigeria and stop the funding of sharia law and sharia courts. period! Then if anyone abducts, elopoes or marries a minor, they can be properly tired under the proision of the Nigeria constitution.

Are there no mature women in Katsina for an OLD COW to forcefully marry a teenager? This girl is making this statement under great duress, isn't she interested in going to school or getting a much younger man to marry her? Why would she want to be the God knows wife number what to an old man? These shameless old men should give me a break and release the poor girl to her parents. I rest my case!
