A Police Inspector attached to a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Imo State, Chief Marcellinus Nlemigbo, was shot dead on Sunday by gunmen.
The incident occurred at Umudagu, Mberi, in Mbaitoli Local Government Area of the state.
The Inspector, whose name was given as Mr Ogbe, was at Chief Nlemigbo’s compound at Umudagu when the gunmen arrived at about 8pm.
