Players and officials of Nigeria Professional Football League champions, Enugu Rangers, will be hosted to a grand reception by Enugu State governor, Ifeanyi Ugwanyi, at the state house on Tuesday.
The side won their seventh league title, ending a 32-year drought in the 2015/2016 season.
The governor who is the major sponsor of the club is expected to announce cash and other rewards for the team.
On Saturday, thousands of fans of the club had the opportunity to celebrate with their heroes during the victory parade which saw the team move around different parts of the state with the trophy.
Players of Rivers United, the side who finished second in the NPFL, were rewarded with N500,000 each by Rivers State governor Nyesom Wike while head coach of the side Stanley Eguma got N1m.
