It appears ex-wife of popular Lagos pastor and founder of Christ Embassy, Chris Oyakhilome, Anita, may have remarried.
Anita who immediately after her divorce, reverted to her maiden name, Ebhodaghe, has added a new name, Schafer to her name and this is visible in her latest post on her online christian website, pastoranita.org.
In the comment section of this new post, someone by the name Frau Glauben congratulated her for her name change while adding "it was such a beautiful ceremony" which could mean a "wedding". In her latest Facebook post as well, Anita included the name Scafer.
See a screen shot of her old post which she always signed off using her "Anita Ebhodaghe" below.

DeleteMost times i wonder the motive behind the action of many of our so called pastors these days. please i will like Pastor Mrs Schafer to please tell me the position of the Holy Bible on her actions. if i may remind you dear Pastor, the Bible did not support divorce and in case of seperation both parties must remain single until either of them dies and that where each party remarries that party ic sommitting ADULTERY. What do you guys teach? Why cant we practice what we preach? Remember that many are and will be decieved as a result of this action ma. Let me believe that this is a rumour and if its real, you need deliverance. Cheers
ReplyDeleteIf one party commits adultery, the other person can remarry. It says so in the Bible. The Party that committed adultery has broken the marriage covenant.
ReplyDeletePlease can u share the Bible passages that support Ur statement?
DeleteShould remain single and commit adultery.
ReplyDeleteLet us be real.about what the Bible says so we don't mislead others.
The interpretation is rather complex.
Let us just pray that God Himself can direct our path to the right thing ijmn
The Bible is very clear about divorce. Christ said God made them only one. If he sanctioned divorce he would have given Adam another woman when Eve committed the greatest of sins. People interpret the Bible the way it suits them
