Salisu Yusuf is expected to sign a N5 million-per-month contract as Nigeria chief coach this week.
The former Enyimba and Kano Pillars coach was to sign the deal before last Saturday’s 2017 AFCON qualifier against Tanzania, but top officials of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), were abroad on official duties.
“The NFF president has said he should be in Abuja this week to sign his contract,” an official told journalists.
Yusuf will act as an assistant to Gernot Rohr, while also taking charge of the home-based Eagles.
