Nigerian table tennis legend, Segun Toriola, has picked 12 players for the final phase of camping for the 2016 ITTF World Junior Table Tennis Championship which serves off from November 30 to December 7 in South Africa.
Toriola, a seven-time Olympian who will lead the male team to the event in South Africa, according to a top source, dropped eight players after the screening exercise at the National Training Centre of Lagos National Stadium, Lagos.
The players listed are; Azeez Solanke, Amadi Umeh, Tobi Falana, Rilwan Akanni, Emmanuel Augustine, Babafemi Babatunde, Tosin Oribamise, Ajoke Ojumu, Agnes Onaja, Halimot Ayinla, Rofiat Jimoh and Vivian.
"Toriola has picked 12 players for the final screening which holds in October and there he will pick the final 8 for the tournament," the source revealed to journalists.
The final camping holds in October ahead of the championship in South Africa.
