Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr, has revealed that there is no guarantee that Nigeria would be in World Cup come 2018 in Russia.
Rohr earns $40,000 monthly and was given a mandate by the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, to take the Super Eagles to the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Rohr while speaking in Oyo the Cross River State capital which serves as the venue of the inconsequential nations cup qualifiers against Tanzania on Saturday, said Nigeria is in a tough group in as much as the qualifiers were concerned, adding that it would take a lot of hard work for the team to make it to Russia.
His words, “There is no guarantee that the Super Eagles will be in Russia because there is so much quality in our group, but the motivation is very high.
“We are going to try our best, but again, I cannot guarantee that Nigeria is going to the next World Cup.”

Oyo is not Cross Rivers state capital. It should be Uyo Akwa Ibom State.
