SaharaReporters claimed that the evidence was reportedly presented to President Buhari several times including during the Sallah holiday. Confronted with the evidence, the Chief of Staff reportedly claimed he was helping the All Progressives Congress party raise funds for the gubernatorial election in Bayelsa State, to which the president is said to have asked him if he was the party chairman, but did not relieve him of his post.
SaharaReporters has previously revealed several corrupt actions of the Chief of Staff. They include taking money from Jide Omokore, a shady businessman who was massively involved in corruption in the oil sector in the preceding administration.

Sure, they are also corrupt; even more than the previous Govt. I tot our president said he has zero tolerance for corruption, why did he not sack and prosecute his CoS, even after he admitted to the crime ; though because of presentation of concrete evidence.

EFCC need more evidence just like bthey are still waiting for more evidence in Amaechi case before he was appointed a Minister ... even till today. I am afraid for my country. This brainless desperate power hungry APC government government have totally destroyed this country. Nigeria can never be the same again.
