William Troost-Ekong has said that he feels happy to have chosen to represent Nigeria instead of Holland.
The Norway-based defender, played for the Dutch age-group teams by virtue of his mother but opted to switch his allegiance to his father’s country.
Troost-Ekong won bronze with the Dream Team VI at the 2016 Olympics and also featured for the Super Eagles, in last Saturday’s 2017 AFCON qualifier against Tanzania.
“I was right to choose to play for Nigeria as I am enjoying myself in the national team after another victory and having a good Rio Olympics,” he said.
“Nigeria have exposed me to the world.”
