Nigeria’s U-17 team, will play in an international tournament in Dubai later this year, according to president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick.
The Golden Eaglets crashed out of the 2017 U-17 AFCON qualifiers in August, with Niger Republic eliminating the five-time world champions 3-2 on aggregate.
However, Pinnick says the NFF will not abandon the squad, because “they are the youngest ever Golden Eaglets” and that is why they will be kept together.
“They will feature in an international tournament in Dubai later this year.”
