The authorities of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has reportedly banned its female staff from wearing miniskirts and jeans trousers to work.
According to a statement by the general manager of NPA, female staff members who are found wanton will be sanctioned.
In a statement, the management claimed it will no longer condone unwholesome dressing.
“It has been observed that despite the issuance of a couple of circulars on corporate Dress Code, some employees still indulge in improper dressing to the office.
“For the avoidance of doubt, it is hereby reiterated that inappropriate dressings such tight jeans trousers, cut-off trousers, mini-skirts/dresses, tummy and navel shirt transparent/exposing outfits, spaghetti strapped dresses, mismatched clothes, rubber slippers, tattered shoes and rough hairstyles, (to mention but a few) that are unnecessary distractions would no longer be condoned and will henceforth attract appropriate sanctions.”

Welcome Islamic state of Nigeria. Let me know how female Christian workers will abide by this law. Remember the Lagos & Osun Muslims court action which respective Muslim Judges granted Muslims. I know Christians are too fearful and goatish, they will comply
ReplyDeleteGood to hear that,

Isis,u are welcome.........
ReplyDeleteHonestly it disgusts me always seeing airport workers more especially immigration officers dressing so tattered irrespective of all the money they make through extortion. I feel very embarrassed whenever I come back home. The appearance of most of the airport workers are so disgusting. Airport authority should not only focus on the dressing of workers but should also rehabilitate the building. Majority of the working facilities are spoilt or faulty ,almost the entire interior should be repainted and redesigned, there is cob webs every where and the entire place smells really bad .I wonder if all these thieves in the name of leaders passes through this place while travelling out and they don't observe all these, its really a shame Nigerian government
