The group stage of the 2016/2017 UEFA Champions League kicks off on Tuesday and Wednesday with some Nigerians expected to be in action for their various clubs.
On Tuesday in Group A, Alex Iwobi and Arsenal will be guests to French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint Germain at the Parc des Princes.
Iwobi should be pushing for a starting spot after recovering from injury and featuring in Arsenal’s 2-1 win against Southampton in the English Premier League on Saturday at the Emirates.
Fresh from impressing in Saturday’s Mancehster derby, Kelechi Iheanacho should be in action for Manchester City who will entertain Borussia Moenchengladbach at the Etihad Stadium in a Group C encounter.
Iheanacho might start from the bench as Sergio Aguero should return to the side as his three-match suspension in the England does not affect him on the continent.
And in Group G, Ahmed Musa and Leicester City will begin their first ever UEFA Champions League adventure away to Club Brugge on Wednesday.
