The League Management Company (LMC) has cleared Giwa players on loan to various Nigeria league clubs to resume playing for these clubs from this weekend games.
“We are delighted to get a clearance from the LMC to line up the Giwa players on loan to us. They are adding value to our team,” said Pillars spokesman Idris Malikawa.
Giwa FC have been expelled from the league after they breached the rules and regulations of the competition.
However, the Jos club have taken their case to the court.
The country’s players’ union had earlier questioned the order by the LMC that Giwa players should not feature for the clubs they are currently on loan to until this court case had been dispensed with.
The union argued that this order stopped the players from earning a living.
But with the latest LMC decision, several of these Giwa loanees will be in action on Sunday.
These players include Amos Gyan, Chris Madaki, Mubarak Saad (Kano Pillars), Charles Henlong, Shittu Lawal, Yusuf Dini (Wikki) and Ocheme Edoh (Enugu Rangers).
