Super Eagles goalkeeper, Carl Ikeme, has hailed Tanzania's Aishi Manula for his brilliant performance in Saturday's 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Uyo.
Manula was in superb form on Saturday for Tanzania denying the likes of Victor Moses, Mikel Obi, Kelechi Iheanacho and Ahmed Musa goal-scoring opportunities with some excellent saves.
He was eventually beaten by an equally wonderful strike by Iheanacho which gave the Eagles a 1-0 win.
Reacting after the game, Ikeme confessed that Manula was the reason why Tanzania did not suffer a heavy defeat.
"A special mention to the Tanzania goalkeeper on his debut!! Some great stops and could've been bigger defeat but for his saves," Ikeme wrote on his Twitter handle.
