Dalung MakesTwitter Account Private After Severe Bashing

The Minister for Sports, Solomon Dalung has tried to reduce the amount of hits he’s receiving over his public gaffe by setting his twitter account to private.

Dalung came under fire when addressing the situation of the U-23 players stranded in Atlanta, he called the USA, ‘The United States of Nigeria’. He was besieged by trolls ever since.

“Our U-23 team suffering in the United States of Nigeria, What are there for? Because they are U-23 and they went to US and they are having problems, does that become our business? ” he said prompting the deluge of mocking comments he received.

You can watch the video of his gaffe below.

  2. Show me your friends and I will tell you the kind of person you are. That is Solomon Dalung for you. Someone who is a friend to a Deluded troublemaker like Chris Giwa and also has a stupid assistant who keeps twitting unnecessarily like a school girl, how do you expect him to ever say or do anything reasonable. Someone said he will be the first minister to be sacked. I believe his sack letter is already written, just waiting to be signed.

  3. I think Dealing should be sacked with immediate effect for incompetence and irresponsibility. How can the minister of sports utter such statements. He doesn't deserve that office at all
