Taifa Stars of Tanzania will be without Young African Football Club of Tanzania goalkeeper Deogratius Munishi when they file out against the Super Eagles of Nigeria this Saturday at the Akwa Ibom International Stadium in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
The goalie lost his father in Dar es Salaam, the capital city of Tanzania, on Monday and has been excused by coach Charles Boniface Mkwasa from travelling with the team to Nigeria.
Coach Mkwasa has thus invited JKT Ruvu goaltender Said Pao as the reserve keeper while Azam FC's Aishi Kinula will likely be between the sticks in Uyo on Saturday.
Pao's invitation may not have been unconnected with his superb performance last weekend in the Mainland Premier League match against
Simba. The match ended in a goalless draw but Pao was reported to have showed great reflexes as he dived and parried to save shots from Simba attackers and ensured his club got a share of the spoils.
