He had also made some earlier statements while counseling youths of the church on marriage saying, “Marry a prayer warrior! If a girl cannot pray for one hour, don’t marry her.” and “Don’t marry a girl who cannot cook, she needs to know how to do chores and cook because you cannot afford to be eating out all the time.”

If truly the statement was credited to pastor Adeboye, Though i am not a member of the church, But from my analysis of the statement, i think he was only discouraging keeping unhealthy and rough beard, I never saw where he said beards are wrong. for the women that cant cook, Please what is wrong with the advise giving to the unmarried youth?
ReplyDeleteIf you cannot cook as a woman, then go and learn how to cook, I think nothing is wrong with that statement. Do you want your husband to be cooking for you?
