Chelsea defender Kenneth Omeruo has completed a season long loan move to Turkish Super Lig side Alanyaspor, just hours after extending his contract with the English Premier League side.
Omeruo, who arrived in Turkey on Tuesday night for his medical alongside Brazil forward, Vagner Love confirmed the move.
"The focus right now is to play regularly and establish myself here," Omeruo told BBC Sport of his move to the newly promoted side.
"I know what to expect joining a team with big ambitions - it means the bar has been raised even higher."
The move marks a return to Turkey for the Nigeria international who spent last season on loan at Kasimpasa where he made 26 appearances, although the club were unable to make the move permanent.
It is also unlikely the 22-year-old will stay with Alanyaspor beyond this season as his contract extension at Chelsea perhaps indicates there's a long term future for him in Antonio Conte's team.
